Elizabeth A. Barr, D.V.M.
Dr. Barr graduated from Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. Following graduation she completed an internship and one year of residency in small animal medicine and surgery at California Animal Hospital in West Los Angeles.
Dr. Barr and her husband, veterinarian Dr. Lusk opened the Animal Hospital of Thousand Oaks in 1991. Dr. Barr concentrates primarily on day to day practice management and operations. She encourages and provides all staff members with continuing education opportunities.
Dr. Barr resides in Thousand Oaks with her husband and pet family. Her son is attending PSU. Dr. Barr enjoys reading, tennis and boating with her family.

Debra K Klumb, D.V.M.
Dr. Klumb graduated from UC Davis with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science prior to receiving her veterinary degree in 1985. Upon graduation, she completed a medical and surgical internship at California Animal Hospital in West Los Angeles. For ten years she served as a community member on Amgen’s IACUC committee overseeing animal welfare in research. She is a member of the AVMA, CVMA, SCVMA and SBVVMA.

Sharon J. Bass, D.V.M.
Dr. Bass graduated from State University of N.Y. at Albany with a B.S. in biology. She has an M.S. in physiology from Washington State University (1984) and a doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington as well. She is a member of the AVMA, CVMA, and the SBVVMA. Her professional interests include internal medicine, endocrinology, and dentistry.
Dr. Bass has previously enjoyed teaching pet CPR and first aid through Los Robles Hospital Community Outreach and Thousand Oaks Adult Education. She has lived in Ventura County since 1989, and resides in Newbury Park with her husband, two sons, the family dog “Rocco” and two pet snakes.

Jody Milburn, D.V.M
Dr. Milburn grew up in Northridge and did her undergraduate studies at U.C. Santa Barbara, receiving her B.A. in Zoology. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University in 1998. Since then she has enjoyed taking care of dogs, cats and other furry or feathered family members. She prides herself in taking a logical, practical approach to pet care and hopes she is as warm and fuzzy as her patients. Currently, she is a member of the AVMA, CVMA, SCVMA and SBVVMA. Dr. Milburn has two young sons and loves spending her free time with them and her husband.
