Sharon J. Bass, D.V.M.
Dr. Bass graduated from State University of N.Y. at Albany with a B.S. in biology. She has an M.S. in physiology from Washington State University (1984) and a doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington (1989). She is a member of the AVMA, CVMA, and the SBVVMA. Her professional interests include internal medicine, endocrinology, and dentistry. She presently serves as a community member on Amgen’s IACOC committee, overseeing animal welfare in research.
Dr. Bass has lived in Newbury Park since 1989 and enjoys hiking and mountain biking in our beautiful mountains. She and her husband have two sons and a “chi-weenie” named Rocco.
Jody Milburn, D.V.M
Dr. Milburn grew up in Northridge and did her undergraduate studies at U.C. Santa Barbara, receiving her B.A. in Zoology. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University in 1998. Since then she has enjoyed taking care of dogs, cats and other furry or feathered family members. She prides herself in taking a logical, practical approach to pet care and hopes she is as warm and fuzzy as her patients. Currently, she is a member of the AVMA, CVMA, SCVMA and SBVVMA. Dr. Milburn has two sons and loves spending her free time with them.
