We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our team in beautiful Thousand Oaks, California. This is an excellent opportunity for both new graduates seeking mentorship and experienced DVMs looking to advance their careers. The role offers the chance to practice high-quality medicine with full autonomy.
What you will do
- Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to our patients.
- Work collaboratively with our skilled team of RVTs, veterinary assistants and customer service specialists.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients built on trust and excellent communication.
- Utilize medical equipment such as digital radiography, digital dental radiography and ultrasound.
- Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records in a timely manner.
Who we’re looking for
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
- Licensure in good standing with the California Veterinary Medical Board, or the ability to obtain one by the date of hire.
- Proven ability to perform basic surgeries is required. Experience with specialized procedures is a plus.
- A strong commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine with empathy and professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills with both clients and team members.
